Who we are
Technology Management, Inc. (TMI) specializes in the design and infrastructure consulting of mission critical facilities. It is all we do and have been doing since we were founded in 1995. In addition to the core competencies of data center assessments and conceptual planning similar to this project, TMI is capable of continuing with the designs to provide bid, permit, and construction documents. Our extensive data center experience assures that all projects are completed by a professional team with the unique innovation required for critical facilities.
Although a small firm, at TMI we average 30-50 data center projects per year. The design projects range in size from 200 to 300,000 square feet anywhere from coast to coast. Our niche is in the 5,000 to 20,000 square foot range. Because we are small, we guarantee that a seasoned project executive will be with you throughout the entire process of the design. We are a firm believer that the structured cabling systems design is conducted concurrently with the architectural and MEP disciplines, to provide a full package ready for bid and implementation.
Beyond the completion of construction documents and performing the traditional construction administrative services associated with the project A/E, TMI often acts as the Client Advocate throughout our projects. Because data centers are an IT project as much as a Facilities project, these additional duties revolve around the specialized aspects of those functions. This includes the management of long lead equipment procurement, the integration of IT infrastructure such as fiber connectivity, and the conducting of specialized systems testing and commissioning.
